About the event
Attendees will be taught by law enforcement experts who have survived active shooter events and learn valuable skills from the FBI's "Run, Hide, Fight" program curriculum. This course includes training in real life scenarios designed using adult learning concepts. Our mission is to empower people to use these skills and response options, when a violent threat presents itself. This course includes training in situational awareness, locking down rooms and buildings, improvised weapons in a public setting and the nationally recognized life saving medical course, STOP THE BLEED, and simulated gunfire scenarios-optional for attendees. This course includes a workplace violence certificate of training.
