Knowledge Saves Lives Incorporated is responsible for providing site specific emergency preparedness consulting and training to hundreds of California schools, businesses, government agencies and private organizations. Our services include site specific active threat training, customized security assessments, drone camera mapping, wildfire prevention mapping, The SB390 Campus Security Officer Program and subject matter expert consulting.
Under the general direction of the KSL, Inc. Management Team, provide in person and virtual training with a team of KSL staff on emergency preparedness and workplace violence prevention. Other duties include preparing security assessment reports, authoring emergency operations plans and providing customized emergency preparedness training courses.
10 years experience as a first responder, 2 years minimum experience as a supervisor, administrator or working in a special assignment such as detectives, SWAT, Strike Team, PIO, etc. Must have teaching experience such as POST/STC courses, college, etc. Risk management experience desired but not required. Must have public speaking experience and basic knowledge of emergency preparedness.
