Chad Bankston | Instructor & Consultant
I have 20 years of law enforcement experience, which began in 2002 with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department. During my time with Stanislaus County, I had many assignments including patrol, Field Training Officer, Gang Detective, and Crimes Against Children Detective. I also spent 8 years on the Stanislaus County SWAT team. In 2014 I was hired as a police officer with the city of Tracy, where I worked patrol and was a firearms instructor. I promoted to the rank of corporal in 2016, and to the rank of sergeant in 2017. As a sergeant I supervised patrol, the Street Enforcement Team, the Field Training Program, and the Range Cadre.
I am a father of four, three boys and one girl. As a father I have spent many years coaching youth sports and continue to coach my youngest son’s middle school basketball team, and travel baseball team.
