Meet Greg

Greg Mahan | Instructor

Greg is a 28-year law enforcement veteran currently serving as a Reserve Deputy with the Merced County Sheriff's Office. After working for the Tehama County S.O. and Merced County S.O. Greg retired in 2018. While a full time Deputy Greg worked street patrol, Investigations and as a School Resource Officer for two school districts. He was also a Field Training Officer for over 20 years. Greg was, and continues as, a Rangemaster/Firearms Instructor teaching firearm skills and active threat response. He is also currently active providing firearm and tactical training in the private sector.
